The adult care worker apprenticeship is an integrated programme of knowledge and skills acquisition, developed alongside core behaviours expected of a competent worker operating in a regulated field. The award of the apprenticeship certificate will signify a recognition of competence in a role and enable progression to higher levels of skills development.
This course accredits learners’ abilities to understand and carry out a range of tasks and responsibilities and has been designed to accredit their achievements in a modern, practical way that is relevant to the work context and aids career progression.

Course duration and attendance
This apprenticeship is delivered within the workplace and will take between 12-16 months to complete. Over the length of your course, you will receive monthly face to face visits from your assessor at your workplace.
