Open day at beauty academy to highlight whole world of opportunities
A warm welcome awaits the people of Frome, Somerset and surrounding areas when the Progress to Excellence trading as Indulgence Beauty Training Academy opens its doors this Sunday for an open day.
The academy, based in the rural setting of The Business Courtyard in Trudoxhill, is holding an open day aimed at people who are looking at taking up a career in hair or beauty.
Throughout the day, there will be hair, nails, make-up and massage demonstrations by tutors and students along with a wealth of information about beginning a course, including the funding options available to support students.
Over coffee and a cake, visitors can ask questions about the academy have a guided tour and even have a sample treatment. They can also register for a course on the spot.
Claire Hughes, Manager of the Progress to Excellence trading as Indulgence Beauty Training Academy, said: “It’s going to be a fantastic day, where we can show visitors all about the wonderful world of hair and beauty. They will also have the chance to meet some of our existing students, many of who are well on their way to successful careers in the hair and beauty industry.
“We’ll be starting off the day with demonstrations of massage, followed by hair, advanced nail art then make-up – plus some face painting for the younger ones.
“Visitors can also see what a wonderful setting we have here, which allows individuals to learn in a relaxed and supportive environment.”
