Location: North West

Salary: £25,000 plus car allowance

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Description:

To deliver quality teaching, learning and assessment to learners, to defined quality standards across all Apprentice / QCF programmes within the range of own occupational competence and to support members of the delivery team as required.

Some duties include:

  • To maintain accurate and up to date records of training, planning, registration, assessment, certification and observations of practice, in line with Ofsted, Awarding Organisation and ESFA guidelines.
  • To work closely with the Business Development team to support the recruitment of learners to supplement caseload and ensure new learners are recruited in line with departmental targets.
  • To ensure the consistently high quality of provision and the quality of the learners’ experience is not compromised.

Location: Home Based with travel to business locations as required

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Description:

To take the lead on developing the health and social care (HSC) curriculum ensuring the development of skills, knowledge and behaviours and upskilling delivery staff in this area.

Some duties include:

  • To be the expert in health and social care and to ensure that we remain prepared and compliant in relevant areas e.g. awarding body standards, Ofsted etc…
  • To support the Curriculum Manager (CM) to develop an outstanding curriculum through the successful development of skills, knowledge and behaviours.
  • To directly support the design and development of new apprenticeship standards (HSC).
  • To manage, support and standardise the training and development of the HSC team including the use of OneFile.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Description:

To deliver quality teaching, learning and assessment to learners, to defined quality standards across all Apprentice / QCF programmes within the range of own occupational competence and to support members of the delivery team as required.

Some duties include:

  • To manage and deliver Teaching Learning & Assessment (TLA) to a caseload of up to 45 learners and to ensure that this caseload complies with the following:
    • Past Planned End Date (PPED) (this should not exceed 5% of the caseload)
    • Expected completions (a minimum of 90% of the caseload to achieve)
    • % on track learners (not below 90%)
    • % off track learners (not to exceed 10%)
    • TLA sessions occur every 4-5 weeks or more
    • Progress Reviews occur every 10-12 weeks
    • All areas of the framework/ qualification to be delivered (including Functional Skills)
  • To maintain accurate and up to date records of training, planning, registration, assessment, certification and observations of practice, in line with Ofsted, Awarding Organisation and ESFA guidelines.
  • To work closely with the Business Development team to support the recruitment of learners to supplement caseload and ensure new learners are recruited in line with departmental targets.

  • Advises and guides client groups on future career and pre-entry opportunities that will help them make an informed decision on their next steps.
  • Conducts one to one interviews as appropriate with learners when they complete their application form to ensure learners are on the right programmes.
  • Complete ILP with learners to establish their starting point and to gather a measure of distance travelled.
